Pause not Denied

We’ve all had those moments—when life feels stalled, prayers seem unanswered, and dreams are stuck in limbo. It’s easy to think, “Did I miss something?” or “Did God forget me?” But what if the delay isn’t denial—it’s divine preparation? Habakkuk 2:3 reminds us, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time... though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” God's timing isn’t like ours. Sometimes, He pauses things not to punish us, but to prepare us. Delays grow character, deepen faith, and clear distractions. They remind us that He’s the Author, and the story isn’t finished yet.

Instead of letting disappointment take root, we can choose to trust that God is working behind the scenes. Romans 8:28 encourages us that “all things work together for good to those who love God.” Even when we can't see progress, God is still moving. Joseph waited years in prison before stepping into purpose. David was anointed king but had to wait before wearing the crown. If God has placed a promise in your heart, don’t give up in the pause. Trust the process. What looks like a setback is often just a setup for something far greater than you imagined. BE ENCOURAGED!!
