Caught off Guard

Life has a way of catching us off guard. One moment, everything seems to be going smoothly, and then—suddenly—things shift. A phone call, a conversation, or even a passing thought can send you spiraling, questioning your direction. Am I where I’m supposed to be? Is this God’s plan or mine? Do I even enjoy what I’m doing? Is this the right job, the right career, the right church? Am I truly walking in my purpose?

We’ve all been there—feeling uncertain, off course, like the ground beneath us isn’t as solid as we thought. But I’ve learned that when life starts to feel wobbly, it’s my signal to be still. To step into a quiet space, not to ask, but to listen—because God is always speaking.

The way we receive His guidance looks different for each of us. Some hear His voice clearly, others find direction through people, Scripture, or even dreams. However He speaks to you, the key is to quiet the noise, pause, and truly listen.

If you’re feeling lost or unsure, take a step back. Stop, be still, and tune in—because God is always guiding, and sometimes, we’re just too busy talking to hear Him. Be Encouraged!
