Have you ever made a perfect life plan, only to have it completely fall apart? You map out your dream job, perfect relationship, and smooth-sailing future—only for God to throw in a plot twist you didn’t see coming. It’s like setting your GPS for a straight path, and God reroutes you down a scenic, bumpy road instead. But here’s the thing—those detours often lead to the best destinations. We might think we know what’s best, but God sees the whole picture, and His plan is always better (even if it feels questionable in the moment).
Just ask Jonah—he ran from God’s plan and ended up on the world’s worst cruise inside a fish. Or Peter, who swore he had everything under control, only to fumble spectacularly. The truth is, our plans will fail, but God’s never will. Life’s twists and turns might not make sense now, but looking back, we often realize that God was guiding us all along. So instead of stressing when things don’t go according to plan, maybe it’s time to sit back, laugh a little, and trust that God knows exactly what He’s doing—plot twists and all. BE ENCOURAGED!
