It's Okay
It's Okay

We live in a culture that praises constant productivity, but God calls us into peace. The truth is, rest isn’t something you have to earn after working hard enough—it’s something your soul needs. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus gently invites us, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” This is not just about physical rest—it’s about releasing the weight of striving and stepping into grace. You don’t have to hold everything together. You don’t have to prove your worth through exhaustion. God’s rest is a safe place for you to breathe again.

Taking time to rest doesn’t mean you’re falling behind; it means you’re aligned with God’s heart. Psalm 23:2-3 reminds us, “He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.” That’s what rest does—it refreshes, renews, and restores. When you honor your need to pause, you are trusting that God is still working even when you’re not. So give yourself permission to rest without guilt. You’re not weak for needing it—you’re wise for choosing it.

BE ENCOURAGED!
