Saying no isn’t selfish—it’s wisdom. Jesus Himself set boundaries, prioritizing His purpose over people’s demands. In Luke 5:16, "But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed." He knew when to step away, and so should we.

Too often, we feel guilty for saying no out of fear of disappointing others. But Galatians 1:10 reminds us, "Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God?" Our yes should align with God’s will, not just people’s expectations.

How to Say No with Confidence

📖 Matthew 5:37 – "Let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’" Be clear and firm in your decisions.

📖 Ecclesiastes 3:1 – "To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven." You don’t have to do everything all the time.

📖 Proverbs 4:23 – "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Protect your time and energy without guilt.

Saying no isn’t rejecting others—it’s making room for God’s best. Stand firm in your boundaries and trust that obedience to Him is greater than pleasing people.
