What Your Actions Say About Your Trust in God

Trusting God isn't just something we say—it's something we show through how we live. When we follow God’s lead even when things don’t make sense, that’s real trust in action. Proverbs 3:5–6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” That might look like choosing to stay calm instead of stressing out, giving generously when money is tight, or forgiving someone even when it’s hard. These choices say, “God, I trust You more than how I feel or what I see.”

But let’s be real—sometimes our hesitation or worry shows we’re still growing in our faith. James 2:17 tells us, “Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” That means our actions are a reflection of how much we really believe God’s got us. It’s not about being perfect but about taking steps even when the path isn’t clear—because we trust that God is already working things out. So, ask yourself: Are your actions showing fear, or are they showing faith?

BE ENCOURAGED!
