In a world that tries to define us by our jobs, our appearance, or how many likes we get on social media, it’s easy to forget who we truly are. But God’s Word reminds us that our true identity is not found in what we do, but in whose we are. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” This means your past mistakes, your insecurities, and even your doubts don’t define you anymore. In Christ, you are made new, loved, chosen, and set apart for a purpose.

Ephesians 2:10 declares, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” You are not an accident or an afterthought—you are God’s masterpiece, uniquely designed for a purpose that only you can fulfill. So, the next time you feel unworthy or question your worth, remind yourself that your identity is rooted in Christ. You are a child of God, forgiven, redeemed, and deeply loved. And that’s an identity no one can take away. BE ENCOURAGED!
